Dmitry Khota


Dmitry Kota is a 100% lyrical musician, producer and DJ, from Ensenada B.C. but based in La Paz, Baja California Sur.


Pioneer former guitarist of Los Angeles pop rock band: Pastilla.

Recorded the song "Lagrimas" included in the rock tribute to "José José" in 1999 and played in U.S.A, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Spain and Japan.


Currently owned by SOCSUB Records (Mexico City) and HOUSE SALAD MUSIC Collective.


He has managed to place  original tracks and remixes in the taste of the peoples choice for its unique sound with multiple variations in every performance.


His dj sets for contain an abundance of rhythms for the dance floor..


In the dj booth he has proven to be a good dj, proving that not only to be a good producer. Always shows great energy and dynamism at the time to face the dance floor.


During 2010 was recognized as one of the Best Video Deejays (VDJ) in Mexico at Dj World Music Conference Mexico 2010, being finalist for 3 consecutive years until 2013.


Currently working on the project of jazz/electronica "JAuZZ" with the famous trumpeter multinominated and GRAMMY winner Terry Townson and with Hollywood Film Composer Bill Levine and formed with Diego Dominguez the duet, Elektrik Sax Proyect.


In Baja California Sur has performed at Fiestas de Fundacion 2016, Fiestas Tradicionales de Cabo San Lucas, Whale Festival in Lopez Mateos 2016 , San Jose Comondu Wine Festival 2017, 2 consecutive years at EXPO Comondu 2016/17, 3 Consecutive years at Gastrovino Festival 2015/16/17, 2 years in Jazz Fest La Paz 2016/17,  Tropic of Cancer Festival in Todos Santos 2017, Carnaval La Paz 2017/18).


HE has shared stage with great international djs and producers at Apparitions Festival in San Pedrito Beach, B.C.S such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Sauderson, Francesco Tristano, Terrence Parker, Doc Martin, Luke Hess, Sebastian Mullaert a.k.a Minilogue, Steve Rachmad, Stacey Pullen, Phil Weeks, Heiko Laux, Edu Imbernon, Dusty Kid, among others.
